Wildcats Take The Top The Arizona Wildcats have finally been able to put together a team that is capable of defeating the back to back defending champs, South Carolina Gamecocks to win their first College World Series trophy since 1986. They become the second team in CWS history to go unbeaten in the postseason, the only other team to do this was the 2011 South Carolina Gamecocks. They used a 3-run 9th inning to separate themselves and give themselves breathing room, however, South Carolina fought back hard with the bases loaded with only 1 out, but couldn’t capitalize on a hit. Wouldn’t mind being in Tuscan tonight…
